The Domestic Distribution Intern will have an opportunity to gain valuable skills in project management, strategic planning, research, marketing and promotions. The intern will leave their internship with a greater understanding of the behind the scenes on how content is distributed and all the different relationships it takes to keep networks on the air and in audiences’ homes.
The Domestic Distribution department negotiates and manages distribution agreements and marketing partnerships across our portfolio of networks with traditional cable, satellite, telco, digital and mobile video providers in the US and Canada. We're one of the few departments that brings in revenue to the company. We've developed a great reputation of working hard with our affiliates to maintain great relationships and execute meaningful promotions, which makes me proud to be a part of this group.
Although our spring internship program will be completely remote (students can apply from anywhere), please be aware that this intern will report into a Los Angeles based manager and therefore should expect to work on pacific standard time.
